went to watch Environmental Dance Floor Competition tday
ny dance society was competing
event started earlier den scheduled
as a result, me and sofiyah missed 2 schs, of which one of em is ny -.-
ain and her fren was there too, they managed to watch nyds
lets juz hope nyds makes it to finals yeah?
den can go down watch finals oso

so we thought it was a wasted trip
as following performance wasnt really nice
then came in tanglin sec guys
loved their outfit srsly, damn nice
baggy green tshirt wit bright orange "fresh" imprinted
love tshirts wit a bold word thats v meaningful
so we hoped that they were gd, as the impression they gave wit their attire was awesome

and so they took the stage
awesome song choice, "one wish"
started out wit freestyling frm 2 guys
MELT LAH!
the whole routine was amazing
me and fiyah were damn noisy and excited
we kept moving ard in our chair saying "holy shit" "damn they're good" and more
srsly made the trip worthwhile
only grp dat was worth watching i think
so kudos to them, if they dun make it to finals
i got nth to say
best grp without a doubt

hoping i can make it for the finals
want see how nyds too, if they make it to finals

hey!
had a great great great day today

trained wit april to harbourfront
incoincidentally met at yishun coz gdad sent me to yishun when he picked up my mum/bro
met rj & pynx at harbourfront
off we went to vivo open area to practice
got chased away frm practising outside one of e restaurants
guard said it wasnt nice to practise there
but thing is,
restaurant want even open then
even its workers waiting outside watched us dance
& kinda enjoyed it
okay dats not e point
so aft doin a few rounds on our own
we did 2 dry runs on actual stage
couldnt really moonwalk/glide properly
coz stage surface was carpeted
so yeah aft dat we went to foodcourt on e same lvl
april had toast egg kopi peng, rj had kiwi juice

den we went to a quiet area which had a glass wall
though it wasnt tranparent (opaque light green honestly)
it still was reflective so we made it our "dance studio"
to practise our routine
it was great there
not many pple, had "mirror" & best of all, can feel aircond!

practised for awhile
den headed to harbourfront city
chose kfc as our lunch/study area b4 e performance
ate ultimate value box, change cheese fries
$7~ but its alrite, havent been eating proper these few days
so its tym i indulged in some gd food
read all 3 cerpen frm malay lit book
test nxt fri, must do well
pynx did some integration, rj april read storybook
we stayed there till abt 430?

headed back to our "dance studio"
and did a few more routines
den despatched to toilet to change
as usual i had my pre-performance ritual of excreting wadever i ate b4 :P
nervous lah can, 1st public appearance
ang hong (organiser) called me when i was doin business
to say dat e heavy rain damaged all their equipments
and dat all perofrmances were cancelled
nvrtheless we went to amphi to check things out
pple were seen wiping equipments clean
in hope of them still bein able to work

so we went foodcourt again
to eat/chill while waiting for clarence kuangwen mingwei
coz they alrdy arrived
while we were happily eating youtiao
qianyi (organiser frm ny) called up to say equipments are alrite
and dat we could still perform
so we went back amphi to wait
quite nervous, as evryone switched off their dancing self
we were alrdy preparing to go arcade/pool

but we didnt wanna disappoint them so we went ahead
performance was great
audience was awesome
they cheered alot, unexpected as they didnt know us
and our routine didnt exactly had many stunts like those in marionette
nvrtheless they cheered alot during evry song transition
and during my solo! guess pple love things like popping & waving huh (:
happy sia~

so aft e performance
we went to arcade and chilled out
pynx clarence rj tried out e drum game
clarence not bad eh~
den pynx april played e 4 arrow stepping game
both of them good sia
mingwei is damn pro at shooting games!
we played some ball-ball game
which got evryone all excited
most fun of all
we played para2!
april is damn pro, made hard freestyle look like peanuts
rj was her usual cute and energetic self
pynx danced well
and i did my trademark "use leg" method
fun sia, better den juz using hands
sweat/exercise more oso XD
damn fun lah

so aft dat accompanied them to kopitiam
den bade farewell and left early
been a long day
i knocked out on the train
slept frm harboufront to khatib/almost reach yishun
totally lost consciousness
really tired ah
imagine reaching vivo at 930
dance/study all e way to close to 7 for performance
still para-para~
but it was alot of fun
enjoyed myself today

hey, new blogskin!
hope Zan quickly let zan know who he is. XD

anyway, the one was great!
we went thru alot to finally be able to perform on friday night
main problem basically was e lack of pple
started wit 5, den 4, den 3, den 6, and finally 5 of us managed to perform
me bryan april rj pynx
unfortunately grace had to back out an hour before the performance
her injury shook us alot, but we pulled it together and still performed
we did it for you girl(:
quickly recover aite, and we hope to see you dancing wit us as soon as possible!

quick recap of performance
started wit choreography to my love by justin timberlake and just dance by lady gaga
moved towards freestyle/solo to marionette
ended wit a tribute to 31st mass dance wit a night to remember
hope you guys enjoyed
we really went thru alot to bring you e performance

a big thanks to april pynx rj for joinin us at such a short notice
really thankful you guys helped out wit getting us back in and stuff
a big thank you goes to april for choreo-ing the moves for us

we're thinkin of setting up NYDC
nanyang dance crew
most probably not an SIG
just a crew whereby we meet at least once a week to dance tgt and stuff
get to learn each other's styles
if evrything goes well
we can book get high session during common lunch break
to perform at atrium etc

sch ended super early today.
supposed to end at 2, which is considered v early alrdy
but mr loo had things to do
so pw frm 1-2 was cancelled
which means sch ended at 12 today!

met ranjini at amk hub
had lunch at foodcourt
ate chendol, yuen had chng thng and ranjini ate yong tau foo
aft lunch watched movie!

hey!

saturday was LOTSA LOTSA fun!
it was so jam-packed wit activities and things happening
reached sch at 830AM, and left sch about 730,PM!

came sch in the morning for mlcs
we learnt MALAY DANCE, omg
so awkward sia :P
but it was kinda fun, especially when we always entered the "stage" at the wrong tym
lyana was kinda irritated, but we managed to crack her up (i hope :/)
played kompang frm malay rm to basketball
met up wit firdaus and his batch pple
played a game of street soccer

after mlcs which ended ard 2 plus
played another game of soccer
rained heavily halfway, but no lightning risk sounded
so we continued playing
short shower, court started to dry as we were playing
had fun dipping our legs into the warm puddles
super shiok sia the feeling
yes dirty water,i know, but our legs werent necessarily clean so yea (:

after washing up after soccer
me yuen mus hamzah went nearby 7-11 for big gulp
most worth it cup i've gotten
we filled up our cups drank half e cup and filled it up again before checking out! XD

met all e councillors at container classrm
there was april rj ely pynx jamie & another guy which i forgot his name
though i asked his name on e bus to amk later :P
it was still early, we were gna use the mpr at 4 so we slacked at container classrm 1st
went toilet and saw girl vballers
mingqi cut her hair!

at 4 we went up to mpr for DANCE PRACTICE!!!

this is dedicated to rachel as she's been reminding me to update dis blog of mine.

hmm orientation was great
highlight was of course disco night!
evryone got so hyper (especially me).
i think i went into evry circle of pple to dance can. XD

chem and math kinda suck,

and those wondering how, i started learning in pri sch.
love to watch chinese drama serials.
so compared subtitles to wad they say.
and learnt basic chinese.
my interest started.
so went to sch and asked pri sch frens how to say certain words.
and slowly learnt how to say simple sentences etc.
sec sch continued to learn harder and chimmer words/sentences.
and i attended 3rd language (mandarin) in sec sch.
evrything was okay till hanyu pinyin disappeared in sec3.
couldnt do at all.
so gave up and stopped chinese in late sec 3.
so in conclusion, i can speak chinese quite well but cant read and write!
eitherways i love speaking chinese so you'll find me speaking chinese quite frequently.
and dun be irritated if i start asking how to say certain words or phrases okay!
i'm still learning (:

it was a car exhibition, not any normal exhibition though..
BOTH my uncles along with their grp 'sword boyz corp' entered the autostyling competition

although i didnt participate i had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful view of modded cars EVERYWHERE!!
and i could enjoy the view of babes from the US!
haha damn shiok XD
and dat wasnt allthe best piece of news is..

today i'll be posting on competition again
this tym its on the waiting of the results

forgot to add in this part yesterday

kays so first we were brought into the hall where we were asked to sit down in our teams

first we had to wait for the arrival of the guest-of-honour,

the VP of MacPherson Mrs Punalala of i'm nt wrong

she gave a speech followed by a speech by e sheng sir

den there was a short video clip on the day's events

AC3 was featured in the holding room while we were playing with gloves

distressing after doing all four sections

after the video came the results

celine and wai cheung were the MCs for the day

first was the results of the ambulance cadet category

the one we took part in

"for best in footdrill, we have from anderson, AC3!!!"

i went up to stage to receive our plague

after taking photo wai wai cheung announced,

"for best in first aid (short case), we have again AC3 from anderson!!"

i was shocked

looked kinda funny on stage

took a second photo with two plagues this tym

after dat, guess wad?

"for first aid (long case), we have yet again AC3 from anderson!!"

i couldnt stop smiling

just as i thought we were goin to swwep the fourth and final award,

celine announced,

"for best in TOC (Transportation Of Casualty) we have from SJI, AC1!"

i went down the stage with 3 plagues and an ecstatic face (:

after announcing winners of respective sections we moved on to the best leader award

and also overall standings

first was again ambulance cadet category

MC announced,

"for the ambulance cadet category,

we have Muhammad Azizan Bin Azhar from AC3!!"

i felt like i was the happiest guy in the world

i had won my dream prize!!! woots!!

ambulance adult won by ronnie frm SJI

nursing cadet won by vanessa ho from macpherson

nursing adult won by rosalind from anderson!! (:

after announcing winners of the best leader section comes the results for the overall standings

as usual our category first

MC says,

"in 3rd position we have frm SJI, AC1!!"

"next in 2nd place, we have from mayflower, AC2!!"

"and finally, the UNRIVALLED champions, we have from anderson, AC3!!!!"

we all jumped for joy holding each others hands

we were happy and proud of ourselves ;D

after dat was the ambulance adult category

our seniors had won second placing

nursing cadet category

junior girls had fourth position

nursing adult category

our batch de girls won fourth

senior girls won 3rd

after evrything was over anderson pple went to gather at the back of the hall

wad made me happy was the moment yuzheng saw me,

he dropped all his things and extended his arms

i dropped my things to and hugged him in joy

i was dat close to tears coz of happiness

we did it, we did it

and we're gonna make sure we get more den wad we get this year,

meaning including best in TOC as well

saw the girls comp teams crying and stuff

felt sad for them

suddenly our mood to celebrate had to stop for a while

in case we made the girls felt worse

however bein the cheerful pple they are NA1 still congratulate dus with the tears and stuff

i was touched, really by the noble-ness of u pple (:

after that we made our way to the drive-thru macs at amk central

as usual evryone was hyper after comp when we went out to eat

last year oso

we ate, talked c***, and played some games

including the number game taught by daryl, our steward for comp

left the place at ard 10

although i felt like staying longer

had to go home

THE BEST DAY IN MY LIFE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!
AC3 CROWNED OVERALL CHAMPION
FOR THE ANNUAL ZONE 3 FIRST AID/HOME NURSING COMPETITION 2007!!!!

Firstly introducing the ppl hu made it possible:

1st man (leader) - Azizan
2nd man - Clemence
3rd man (asst leader) - Junyao
4th man - Jordan
5th man (reserve) - Yong Xiang

Lets move on to the awards:

- Best In Footdrill
- Best In First Aid (Short Case)
- Best In First Aid (Long Case)
- Best Leader
- OVERALL CHAMPIONS!! :D

- Best In Footdrill

Highlights:
tradition start with one solid sedia and perhatikan barisan which impressed the judge a lot
moved on to our trademark nombor bilang which sounded exceptionally nice dat day
continued doing the procedure at our top form
had a little timing blunder during tukar haluan
moved on to nombor bilang
left our mark at MacPherson with our best keluar baris EVER

- Best in First Aid (Long Case)

Highlights:
marched into the classroom nicely and reported well
casualty jumped down frm 2nd storey and mum fainted in despair
job assigning: Clemence to clear crowds
Junyao to help Clemence
Jordan to call ambulance
assigned JY to jumped down casualty
jordan and Clemence to mum
i helped JY
we did well
clemence and jordan stunned to receive only fainting for their casualty
overall okay performance
reported to medical officer easily and calmly (:

- Best in First Aid (Short Case)

Highlights:
Marched in and reported as good as long case
marathon case
one casualty with heat stroke
the other with cardiac arrest
asked clemence to clear crowds which consisted of 5 to 6 pple
worst crowd ive ever got
keep coming and disturb
jordan to call ambulance
JY to help clemence clearing the crowd
after jordan was done we approached casualty
JY with me to heat stroke casualty
clemence and jordan to cardiac arrest casualty
crowd kept coming back so thruout the case clemence did crowd clearing
thought it was over
miraculously jordan WOW-ed me gargantuan-ly
did the case ALONE and still made it look super easy
JY did his usual thing without any problem
again reporting was easy wit no errors (:

- Transportation Of Casualty (Won By SJI)

Highlights:
reported to medical officer
ordered jordan and clemence to locate the casualty
asked JY to stay behind with me to set up the canvas stretcher
took along canvas sheet and blanket
had to go thru an obstacle course
approached casualty
loaded him onto canvas sheet taking extra care in case he has spinal injury
loaded him to canvas stretcher
transported him to ambulance without any major mistakes
brought him near to the ambulance
operated the ambulance stretcher alone
i looked damn cool!! XD
loaded him to ambulance stretcher
asked JY to guide the stretcher
brought him in with one try and lifted him in easily
